A statement on returns.
European consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal. The house respects it. Beyond that, we approve returns one by one.
Statutory withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a private consumer in the European Union, you have fourteen days from receipt of the piece to withdraw from the contract, without reason. To exercise this right, write to info@silvermanbaer.mc with the code on your piece. We will issue a return label and refund the full amount within fourteen days of receiving the piece back, unworn, with the code intact.
Beyond the statutory window
The house may, at its sole discretion, accept returns or exchanges beyond the statutory window. The house decides. We do not promise.
Custom-code orders
Every piece carries a unique six-character code linked to the recipient, printed on the back of the neck. This code is the bespoke element. Once a piece carries your code, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply — bespoke goods under § 18 Abs. 1 Z 3 FAGG (Austria) / Art. 16 lit. c Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. The piece is yours. The code is yours. There is no return.
Print-on-demand exceptions
Pieces produced to bespoke specification (one-of-one orders, monograms, custom variants) are excluded from the right of withdrawal where the law permits. We will tell you at the moment of approval if a piece falls in this category.
Worldwide shipping
Every piece ships from our European production partner directly to the recipient. Lead time is seven to twenty-one days from approval. No express tier, no overnight, no rush — the house works to its own rhythm.
Insured to door
All shipments are fully insured for the full retail value through the courier's declared-value programme. Loss or damage in transit is covered without questions; we replace the piece and issue a fresh code.
Signed-for delivery
Every parcel requires signature on receipt. Couriers do not leave pieces unattended, in safe spaces, or with neighbours. If you are not available, the courier holds the parcel for collection at a depot of your choosing.
