The mechanic.
Apply. Be read by hand. Wait. Receive a code with the piece, or do not. Transfer the code only when you transfer the piece.
Application
You submit a short form. Name, contact, public profiles, recommendations. The house reads it. Decisions take seven to twenty-one days. We answer in the language you wrote in, or we do not answer at all.
Wait window
Seven to twenty-one days from submission to first response. Some applications stay in the queue longer. The house does not promise a deadline. If you have not heard from us in twenty-one days, assume nothing — neither yes nor no.
Why we may refuse
We do not say why.
How recommendations work
Each verified recommendation moves you up the list by approximately five positions. A verified recommendation is one whose name we know, or whose code we hold. Unverified recommendations are read but not weighted.
The code
Every piece carries a six-character code, printed inside the garment. It is yours from the moment the piece is yours. You may publish it. You may verify it at /code. Anyone may verify a code. They will see the first name of the holder and a photograph, if the holder has consented to public listing.
Transfer
A piece is the code. If you sell or gift the piece, you transfer the code. To transfer, write to info@silvermanbaer.mc with the code and the next holder's details. The house approves or refuses the transfer. Approved transfers are recorded. Refused transfers leave the code with you. There is no resale outside this channel.
Refunds and returns
See returns. European consumers have statutory withdrawal rights. The house respects them. Beyond that, we approve returns one by one. Custom-code orders (every piece, by definition) are exempt under bespoke-goods rules.
Payment
By payment link, after the house approves your application and the piece. American Express Centurion and Platinum are preferred. Other cards are considered.
